Indira Van Mitan Yojana ensures tribal forest dwellers get minimum support price (MSP) for 65 types of non-timber forest produce (NTFP) they collect, including tendu leaves, mahua, tamarind, and more. It also forms tribal collectives (Van Mitan Samitis) for collective bargaining.

Non-Timber Forest Produce includes all forest products other than timber — like tendu leaves, mahua flowers, tamarind, amla, honey, bamboo shoots, and medicinal plants.

How much more are tribals getting now vs before Indira Van Mitan? ▾
