Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana was launched by the Maharashtra government in July 2024. The scheme provides ₹1,500 per month direct cash assistance to all eligible women aged 21–65 years in the state.

The scheme aims to empower women economically and improve their standard of living. As of 2024, approximately 2.34 crore women have registered and are receiving monthly benefits directly in their bank accounts via DBT.
