₹1 lakh interest-free loan per SHG member for women's economic empowerment in Gujarat

Mukhyamantri Mahila Utkarsh Yojana was launched in October 2019 to provide interest-free loans to women members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in Gujarat. Each eligible SHG member can avail a loan of up to ₹1 lakh at 0% interest.

The scheme aims to promote women entrepreneurship and strengthen rural and urban women economically. The interest cost is borne by the Gujarat government.

Eligibility Criteria

Woman member of an active Self-Help Group in Gujarat
SHG should be registered and active for minimum 6 months
Good repayment track record in the SHG
Age: 18 years and above
Should not have any overdue loans

Ensure your SHG is registered with the local DRDA/Panchayat

Apply through your SHG to the nearest bank branch

Submit SHG pass book, group resolution, and member details

Bank processes application in 15 working days

Loan credited to SHG account — distributed to members
