Rythu Bandhu provides pre-crop investment support of ₹5,000 per acre per season (Kharif + Rabi = ₹10,000/acre/year) to all land-owning farmers in Telangana. The scheme is one of India's most generous state-level farm support programs and is credited with significantly reducing farmer distress. Money is deposited in farmer's bank account before the sowing season.
