Life insurance and accident compensation scheme for workers in unorganized sector in Tamil Nadu.

The Kalaignar Life Insurance Scheme covers workers in the unorganized sector including construction workers, domestic workers, agricultural labourers, fishermen, and other daily wage workers. The scheme provides life insurance coverage and accidental death/disability compensation at a very nominal premium subsidized by the government.
