Bank of Baroda has released the BoB Apprentice Recruitment 2026 notification for the engagement of 5,000 Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. This is one of the largest apprenticeship drives in the Indian banking sector this year, offering young graduates a foot in the door of one of the country’s biggest public sector banks. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 15,000 during a 12-month apprenticeship period.

Online applications are open from 19 May 2026 to 8 June 2026 15 June 2026 (Extended) through the NAPS and NATS apprenticeship portals followed by BFSI SSC payment. The eligibility cut-off is simple — any graduate in any discipline aged between 20 and 28 years (as on 1 May 2026) can apply.

Bank of Baroda is a leading public sector bank with thousands of branches across India and a strong international presence. Under the Apprentices Act 1961, the bank periodically engages graduates as Apprentices for 12 months of hands-on banking training. Apprentices are trainees, not employees of the bank.

💰 Salary Structure

Bank of Baroda Apprentices receive a flat monthly stipend of Rs 15,000 during the 12-month engagement. No other allowances, HRA, DA, bonus, leave encashment or transport allowance is payable. The stipend is paid each month after adjusting any Loss of Pay (LoP) days.

Monthly Stipend: Rs 15,000
Annual Stipend (12 months): Rs 1,80,000
Other allowances: None — no HRA, DA, transport, hostel or relocation support
Payment Mode: Direct bank transfer to apprentice’s savings account

📝 How to Apply

Register on NAPS (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) or NATS (nats.education.gov.in) Government of India apprenticeship portal
Search for the “Bank of Baroda” apprenticeship advertisement on NAPS / NATS and apply
Eligible candidates will receive an email from BFSI SSC inviting them to fill the final Application-cum-Examination Form
In the form, enter your personal details, choose up to 3 preferred training centres within one State / UT, and declare category / PwBD status
Make the online fee payment to BFSI SSC through the secure payment link in the form
Note down your Enrolment ID (NATS) and / or Apprentice Registration Code (NAPS) for future communication
Save the confirmation email and the completed Application Form printout
