🎓 Educational Qualification

• Certified Welder & Welder Grade-1: Matric with ITI in Welding plus the welding certificate as per IBR 1950.

• APA (Mechanical): Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (60%) or B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering in Mechanical (50%).

• Laboratory Assistant: B.Sc with Chemistry (60%) or M.Sc Chemistry (50%).

• Bulldozer Operator & Loco Shunter Operator: Matric with a Heavy Duty Driving Licence.

• Electrician Grade-1 / Technician Grade-1 (Mechanical / Instrumentation): Relevant Diploma (50%), or Matric with ITI in the relevant discipline (60%) plus 2 years’ experience as Grade-2 in PSPCL/PSTCL.

• Fireman: One-year Fire-Fighting Certificate/Diploma (50%) with Matric, plus the prescribed physical standards.

✅ Selection Process

1. Computer Based Test (CBT)
2. Document Verification
3. Physical Test / Physical Fitness Standard (for Fireman post)
4. Exam Pattern:The CBT is an objective MCQ test. For most Group-C posts, there is a qualifying Punjabi Language part (50 questions, minimum 50% to qualify) followed by a 100-question Part-II covering the concerned subject, Punjabi, General Knowledge, Reasoning and General English, taken over 3 hours. There is negative marking of 1/4 (0.25) mark per wrong answer in Part-II. The minimum qualifying marks are 45% for General and 35% for reserved categories. Remember that each post has its own exam and merit list, so choose the cadre that best matches your qualification.

💰 Salary Structure

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated pay of ₹21,700 to ₹35,400 per month per month along with DA, HRA, TA and other perquisites as per the 7th Pay Commission.
