🎓 Educational Qualification

10th / SSC pass with Science with minimum 55% marks AND an ITI / National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the relevant trade, OR

10th with Science (55%) and 3 years of work experience in the trade in a Government/PSU/autonomous body.

✅ Selection Process

Screening of Applications: A committee shortlists eligible candidates.
Stage I — Trade Test: A test in the relevant trade subject.
Stage II — Competitive Written Examination: OMR/Computer-based objective test.

Written Exam Pattern:
The written exam has 150 questions over 2 hours 30 minutes, split into three papers:
- Paper I — Mental Ability Test: 50 questions, 100 marks (no negative marking).
- Paper II — General Awareness + English: 25 + 25 questions, 75 + 75 marks (negative marking applies).
- Paper III — Concerned Subject: 50 questions, 150 marks (negative marking applies).
The final merit list is prepared from Paper II and Paper III marks, for candidates who clear the Paper-I threshold.
