✅ Selection Process

1. Selection is based mainly on a Computer Based Test (CBT), called the One-Tier Examination. There are three exam schemes depending on the post.

2. A single CBT of 200 questions for 200 marks in 2 hours, covering General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, Hindi and English (40 marks each).

   One-Tier (Technical / Teaching) Posts

3. A CBT of 200 marks in 2 hours with two sections — Section A (100 marks) on general subjects and Section B (100 marks) on the specific subject of your post. Minimum qualifying marks apply.

   Skill Test & Other Tests

4. Some posts also have a Skill Test, Typing Test, Trade Test or Physical Endurance Test, as required. There is negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer in the CBT.

5. What is the Salary for DSSSB Recruitment 2026?

   Salary depends on the post and its pay level under the 7th Pay Commission. Along with the basic pay you also get Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance and other benefits as per rules.

   • Pay Level 7: ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400 (higher posts like Assistant Archivist Grade-I)
   • Pay Level 6: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400 (Trained Graduate Teachers, Technical Assistant)
   • Pay Level 5: ₹29,200 – ₹92,300 (most Junior Scientific Assistant posts)
   • Pay Level 2: ₹19,900 – ₹63,200 (entry-level technical posts)

💰 Salary Structure

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated pay of ₹19,900 – ₹1,42,400 (Pay Level 2 to Level 7) per month along with DA, HRA, TA and other perquisites as per the 7th Pay Commission.

3. Log in and fill the application form for your chosen post, entering all details correctly.

5. Pay the application fee online (women and reserved categories are exempted).
